Rentals in this area of San Bernardino tend to go for reasonable prices due to the fact that the airport isn’t used for passenger flights.

The climate in San Bernardino averages at around 75°F year round. This makes out door activities bearable in the summer. Most valley locations in California tend to have a much higher average temperature. You may still want to consider renting an apartment with pool access or at least central air as it can heat up to around 100°F during the summer.

Seniors will find living in San Bernardino vary pleasant. Senior housing and rentals are plentiful in San Bernardino. The San Bernardino Senior Center is the meeting place of the nearly 17 thousand seniors living in the area. Seniors will find great rentals in townhouses and senior communities as well as assisted living apartment complexes.

In 2009 a plan was set into action to revitalize the downtown area of San Bernardino. This plan is expected to take on the span of 10 years. Once finished the plan is meant to bring more culture and history to downtown San Bernardino. Rentals in the downtown area are expected to rise in price. Obtaining one of these properties may be more difficult in the future.
